Reflections from the PMI Conference 2025 “Agile leadership in a Tech-Driven World”
Last week, I had the privilege of speaking at the PMI Zambia Chapter Conference, where we unpacked the theme “Agile leadership in a Tech-Driven World.”
It was an incredible discussion alongside brilliant panelists who brought diverse perspectives from project management to digital transformation, leadership, and innovation. Together, we explored what agility truly means beyond frameworks and jargon.
For me, agility is deeply cultural. It’s about adaptability, empathy, and context not just speed. In Africa, we’ve witnessed how technology thrives when it aligns with who we are and how we live.
Platforms like M-Pesa remind us that when solutions are built with local realities in mind, they don’t just scale ,they transform lives.
I shared how, in our tech ecosystem, we must continue embedding African agility, our spirit of community, resilience, and ingenuity into how we build, lead, and innovate. Because true agility is not just about moving fast, but moving with purpose.
A heartfelt thank you PMI Zambia Chapter for the platform, and to my fellow panelists for such an insightful and inspiring exchange of ideas.
